«Rush into Russian» course book is addressed to English speaking students. It is designed for beginners (elementary level A1). It will help those studying Russian at the initial level to achieve their goals more quickly. The course book contains the simplified grammar explanations, exercises with pictures, authentic communicative tasks, and grammatical tables. It also offers lively dialogues, vocabulary lists, texts for reading with tasks, idioms and set expressions translated from Russian to English. The book is aimed at active use of frequently used grammatical structures and conversational patterns and contains information about accentuation and the most common exceptions. The course may be used to teach Russian both in formal classes, universities or as self-study reference book.
