After the harrowing events of her encounter with Namiran raiders and Alkynaia sea serpents while on board the Windrider, Britea now finds herself enrolled in one of the only three wielder schools left in Malaquey. She soon discovers there is more to wielding than she thought, and while she makes some close friends, she also creates some powerful enemies.
