Kelly, a registered nurse from Ashtabula, Ohio looses her job due to downsizing in July 1987. She impulsively signs a one-year contract to work at a hospital in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. This is Rosemary Day's first novel. She worked in the Middle East as a nurse in the mid 80"s. Her career in health care has spanned forty years. Travel is one of her passions.
